The Found Barrette Project starts as my journey through Chicago, and its neighborhoods, a city rich in history and improv. The Found Barrette Project is both about capturing a moment through observation and the absurdity of the entire collection together as a representation of collective spontaneity. What is lost must be found. My inspiration is comedy and what I see as the whimsy in fashion collections. The Found Barrette Project is me and the city itself, its people, the story of all meeting in a moment, a reminder to be in the present and celebrating, a diatribe on fun. The Found Barrette Project has many contributors.
