Jigsaw of a Jigsaw

The layered nature of this project as a puzzle of a puzzle made it fun for me to complete, both as an metalsmith and a lover of games. Humor is important to me and this piece gave me a chance to express complexity with the design process and the simplicity of fun with the finished piece. The original idea was inspired by wanting to make a gift that was handmade, unique and had a sense of humor. Whats funnier than a jigsaw puzzle of a jigsaw puzzle? (Photos by Guy Nicol.)
